About Us

We’re Amaya and Léa.

We met abroad, far from home, our families and everything familiar. We had both chosen to leave, to discover the world, experience new things and build a life that felt truly our own.

Our paths simply crossed. And over time, our conversations revealed how much we had in common: travel, movement, wellbeing, personal growth, and above all, a shared curiosity to keep learning, evolving and discovering what really feels right for us.

We often talked about the things that made us feel good, the influence our environment has on the way we feel, and those moments when we need to slow down, take a step back and create a little more space for ourselves.

And then, an idea started to take shape.

What if we created a few days where women could do exactly that?

Step away from their everyday lives. Discover somewhere new. Move their bodies. Take care of themselves. Meet new people. Share, learn, laugh and still have time to simply be on their own.

A small group of women. A place chosen with intention. And an experience designed to be more than just a few days away.

That’s how SORA House was born.

Because sometimes, we want something to change without necessarily knowing exactly what we’re looking for.

Sometimes, we simply need to step away from our usual environment to see things differently. To meet people who inspire us. To discover a new place. To reconnect with the things that make us feel good.

And maybe that’s where something starts to shift.

With SORA House, our intention is to create that space: a moment to slow down, reconnect with yourself, take care of your body and mind, and leave with a little more clarity, confidence and inspiration for what comes next.

Not with all the answers.

But perhaps with a new idea.
A new perspective.
A new desire.

And most importantly, with the feeling that you took some time for yourself.

For eight years, I worked across different companies and built the kind of life that looked good from the outside.

Most recently, I was living in Hong Kong, working in a high-pressure environment and constantly pushing myself forward. From the outside, everything seemed fine. But slowly, I was feeling less and less like myself.

Anxiety. A tight chest. A mind that wouldn’t switch off. Weekends when all I wanted was to escape to the mountains just to breathe again.

I eventually realised that I didn’t need another holiday. I needed a different way of living.

Two days can’t erase everything. But they can give you the space, tools and perspective to start managing it differently.

I created SORA House because I was looking for experiences that felt as good for the mind as they did for the body.

Places where you can slow down without feeling guilty.
Move without having to perform.
Be surrounded by women without having to pretend everything is fine.

SORA House isn’t a physical place. It’s a safe space created for a few hours, a weekend, or a little longer.

Through multi-day escapes and shorter experiences, we use movement as a way to calm the mind, reconnect with ourselves and create space to breathe.

A pause for women who overthink.
For women who are looking for a better way of living.
For women who want more but don’t want to burn themselves out to get there.

SORA House is about finding the balance between stillness and movement, adventure and recovery, connection and time for yourself.

Through my own experiences, I share the practices, tools and lessons that have helped me feel more grounded, more at ease and more aligned with who I am.

Not a perfect life.
Just a better way of living it.
