General Terms and Conditions of Sale for Sora Experiences

1. Scope

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale ("Terms") apply to the purchase of experiences offered by Sora House ("Sora House", "we", "us").

They apply to experiences such as, depending on availability:

  • running experiences;

  • cycling experiences;

  • sound-bath experiences;

  • wellness experiences;

  • hot-tub experiences;

  • community events;

  • other movement, wellness and lifestyle experiences offered by Sora House.

Each experience may have specific information displayed on its booking page.

2. Booking

A booking becomes effective when:

  1. the participant selects an available experience;

  2. the participant provides the requested information;

  3. the participant accepts these Terms;

  4. the required payment has been successfully completed.

Sora House may refuse or cancel a booking where reasonably necessary, including where an experience has reached capacity or where the information provided is materially inaccurate.

3. Price

Prices are displayed on the relevant booking page and are stated in CHF or EUR depending on the location of the experience.

Unless otherwise indicated, the price includes only the services expressly listed in the experience description.

Travel to and from the meeting point is not included unless expressly stated.

4. Payment

Payment is made through the payment method made available by Sora House.

A booking is confirmed only after payment has been successfully processed.

5. Changes to an experience

Sora House may need to modify an activity because of:

  • weather;

  • safety concerns;

  • operational constraints;

  • supplier availability;

  • circumstances beyond Sora House's reasonable control.

Where reasonably possible, Sora House will offer a comparable alternative.

6. Cancellation by the participant

Unless a specific experience page states different terms:

  • cancellation more than 14 days before the experience: FULL REFUND;

  • cancellation between 14 and 7 days before: 50% REFUND;

  • cancellation less than 7 days before: NO REFUND;

  • no-show: no refund, unless otherwise required by law.

If an experience has different cancellation conditions, those conditions will be displayed before purchase.

7. Cancellation by Sora House

If Sora House cancels an experience and cannot offer a suitable alternative, the participant will receive A FULL REFUND OF THE AMOUNT PAID.

Sora House will not be responsible for additional costs incurred by the participant, such as transport or accommodation booked independently, unless required by applicable law.

8. Weather and safety

Outdoor activities may be modified, postponed or cancelled where weather or environmental conditions create a safety concern.

Sora House's decision regarding the safety of the activity will be based on reasonable safety considerations.

9. Participant responsibilities

Participants agree to:

  • arrive on time;

  • follow reasonable safety instructions;

  • behave respectfully towards other participants, staff, guides and partners;

  • provide accurate information relevant to participation;

  • use equipment appropriately;

  • inform Sora House of relevant limitations that may affect safe participation.

10. Physical activity

Some Sora Experiences involve physical activity.

Participants are responsible for ensuring that they are able to participate safely in the activity.

Participants should seek appropriate professional medical advice if they have concerns about their ability to participate.

Sora House does not provide medical advice or medical supervision unless expressly stated.

11. Liability

Sora House will provide the services with reasonable care and skill.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Sora House cannot be responsible for loss or damage resulting from circumstances outside its reasonable control or from a participant's failure to follow safety instructions, except where such exclusion would be unlawful.

12. Personal belongings

Participants remain responsible for their personal belongings.

Sora House is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal property except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

13. Photography and video

Sora House may photograph or film experiences for communication and promotional purposes.

By participating to Sora Experiences, you automatically consent for Sora House's website and social media and promotional/advertising uses.

Any use of identifiable participant images for promotional purposes will be subject to the participant's applicable image-rights consent.

14. Complaints

Any complaint should be sent to: hello@bysorahouse.com.

Sora House will seek to resolve complaints fairly and promptly.

15. Applicable law

These Terms are governed by French law, subject to mandatory consumer protections.

Where applicable, consumers may have access to legally required alternative dispute-resolution mechanisms.
